We all approach life with a set of beliefs and values. Our beliefs and values are shaped by God’s self-revelation to the world through creation, the written Word known as the Bible, and through his coming as the divine-human, Jesus Christ.
As we encounter our Heavenly Father through worship we are inspired and moved to engage His Word for truth about life and guidance in how He desires life to be lived. The Bible provides a firm foundation for our faith and informs us of our purpose here on earth. Encore represents living out our purpose to the end of our days.
We believe that none are perfect and all need a personal, saving, relationship with God through faith in Jesus who gave up his life for us on the cross. Our faith is validated by the Father raising His Son from death and to reign over creation as Lord of all! We are enabled to follow Jesus by the gift of His Spirit, who lives within the life of everyone who calls upon the name of Jesus as Lord and Savior.
We believe that this life is but the prelude to an eternity with Him. But as long as He gives us breath, we are to worship Him, grow in spiritual maturity, and serve one another in the name of Christ.
An historic distinctive of Baptists is that we have no man made creed. Our creed is the Bible.
